This is San Diego shot on film! As the name suggests, I ventured around southern California across six days with the goal to document tight knit communities as the season approached summer, hoping to get a glimpse of what people in the area like to do.

The final collection was curated from over 12 rolls of film. The way I made final selections relied entirely on my first impressions of every photo and whether I found it pleasing to stare at. If I found myself consistently returning to an image, I considered it for the end collection. Even when I couldn’t put my finger on what exactly captivated my interest, I knew it had to be for good reason.
